Manolito A. Manalo is the managing partner of Ocampo Manalo Valdez & Lim Law Firm and oversees the firm’s labor & litigation practice; including representing various clients before regulatory and quasi-judicial bodies.
Mr. Manalo is a product of the University of the Philippines in Diliman, having earned a bachelor of arts degree (Political Science) and a bachelor of laws degree from the said university in the years 1992 and 1995, respectively.
For several years running now, Mr. Manalo has been described as a leading individual and market leader in the practice areas of dispute resolution, aviation and real estate by respected publications such as Legal 500, Asia Law & Practice, Expert Guides, Asian Business Law Journal, Global Law Experts, among others.
He is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, the Philippine Bar Association and the International Bar Association. In addition to being a patent attorney, Mr. Manalo is also an accredited air accident investigator as a long-time representative of the International Federation of AirLine Pilots Associations (IFALPA) and the AirLine Pilots Association (ALPA) of the US.
Aside from his position in the firm, Mr. Manalo is a well respected name in the business community and concurrently serves as Chairman & CEO of publicly-listed Prime Media Holdings, Inc. Director of Kajima Philippines, Inc., and in various corporate capacities for Turkish Airlines, Air Seoul, PCCW of Hong Kong, Chailease Finance of Taiwan, & Hong Kong Airlines to name a few. Mr. Manalo was recently tapped to be the Asia-Pacific Managing Director for WGI Global, a US based foundation to promote English language literacy and as an adviser of the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry’s “Go Negosyo Mentorship Program” for young entrepreneurs.
