Juan Victor S. Valdez graduated from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science degree and completed his Bachelor of Laws at the Arellano University School of Law in 2000.
Mr. Valdez joined Ocampo & Manalo in the year 2000. Through his substantial contributions and unwavering dedication, he was promoted to Senior Partner and assists in leading the Litigation Department of the firm. He works closely with the associate lawyers of the firm supervising them on the cases and projects being handled by Ocampo & Manalo.
Mr. Valdez has acted on a large number of litigation and arbitration cases and leads the firms’ practice in handling both international and domestic clients in a broad range of matters related to corporate, civil, criminal, labor, transportation (aviation), intellectual property, tax, and administrative cases. He represents clients before regular and appellate courts, administrative and quasi-judicial agencies, as well as arbitral tribunals and other bodies. Mr. Valdez specializes in commercial litigation, and has notably represented clients in high profile cases involving complex questions of law. He currently represents a publicly listed company in cases involving land disputes.
Based on his extensive experience in the field of litigation, Mr. Valdez applies dispute resolution strategies with a comprehensive approach, advocating for the clients’ best interests with full awareness of their ultimate goals and concerns.
Bernadeth A. Lim graduated from the De La Salle University, Manila with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science Major in Governance with an Honorable Mention. She completed her Bachelor of Laws Degree from University of the Philippines, Diliman and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2005.
Ms. Lim has extensive practice in the areas of commercial, labor, intellectual property, criminal and civil law. She has assisted various start-up companies establish their businesses in industries, such as business process outsourcing, aviation, freight forwarding and architecture.
She currently advises domestic and international airlines, logistics companies, construction companies, car distributors and dealers, mining companies, hotels and condotels and food manufacturers. Ms. Lim likewise handles license requirements of clients in aviation, insurance, immigration, telecommunications, construction and health care.
Christopher S. Salvador’s practice presently deals with broad range of transactional, corporate and aviation matters. He has advised, prepared documents, and negotiated for an in behalf of foreign and local clients on various corporate deals and transactions involving acquisitions, equity issuances, corporate structure, corporate governance, labor issues, taxation energy, and regulatory matters. His practice also extends to general corporate law practice, corporate housekeeping, including regulatory advice, advisory assistance to clients’ queries, and the drafting, execution and review of legal and commercial documents.
Mr. Salvador is a graduate of the Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from the De La Salle – Graduate School of Business and Far Eastern University – Institute of Law consortium. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2010.
Leah Eloisa R. Espiritu graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Major in Political Science and Bachelor of Laws from the University of San Carlos – School of Law and Governance. As Partner, Atty. Espiritu represents corporations and individuals in a wide variety of transactions mainly mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring.
She assists foreign and domestic companies in the establishment of businesses in the Philippines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Atty. Espiritu’s expertise includes aviation, commercial law, intellectual property, immigration, labor, and civil litigation.
Jeanne Marisse Theodora C. Antolin graduated from the University of Asia and the Pacific with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology in 2005. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila Law School in 2010. She started her law career in 2012. She worked for Abuda Asis and Associates, a firm that specializes in banking and project finance before joining the firm. She currently handles corporate, commercial, labor, civil and criminal cases.
